Savannah, Allie, Michaela, Rachel, Evan, and I spent the day in Stratford Upon Avon, home of William Shakespeare! The home that he was born in, which is almost 450 years old, is still standing. Incredible! Some of the floors are original, and in his daughter’s home, some of the windows are original as well. There’s so much history here, more than an American can dream of. We toured the house Shakespeare was born in, saw his grave in the Holy Trinity Church, and toured Hall’s Croft, his daughter’s home. Saw a lot, learned a lot. The town itself was small, quiet, and I pretty much fell in love with it. Pretty relaxing Friday!
